Brands Hatch has two configurations: the Grand Prix circuit and the Indy track. Situated in a natural bowl in the Kent countryside, the track has some fantastic corners, most notably Paddock Hill- a fast right hander that drops downhill as you negotiate it.
The Grand Prix circuit (last used for Formula One in 1986) is longer and twisty, with sections flowing through tress before re-emerging into view.
The Indy circuit is shorter and was built to accommodate the Indy Cars, sadly they only visited once, in 1978. Although only just over a mile long, the track is challenging and technical, especially in the wet!
