Donington is a park circuit, set in the former parkland of Donington Hall. Donington hosted the 1937 and 1938 Grand Prix, both events won by the Auto Unions. In 1993 the circuit saw the return of Grand Prix, with Ayrton Senna driving one of the most amazing laps seen in F1.
Donington is home to the Donington Historic Festival and ideally suited to classic car use, with long sweeping bends such as the Craner curves. We use the National circuit which cuts out the Melbourne Hairpin and is easier on brakes.
If you have time, make sure you visit the Grand prix collection museum which is on the site.
