Silverstone is the home to the British Grand prix for a good reason- it is a brilliant track with excellent access. A former Wellington base in the war, if you take a walk around the circuit you can still see the remains of runways and RAF buildings.
We use two configurations- the National Circuit and the Grand Prix circuit. If you have forgotten any of your kit then GPR racewear is on-site near the main entrance.
The National circuit comprises only three real corners, but don’t let that put you off- the circuit is simple enough to learn quickly yet complex enough to challenge even the best drivers. The VSCC has used it as the venue for its Spring start meeting for many years.
The Grand Prix circuit is 3.66 miles long and takes some learning, but the rewards are huge when you get a lap right. The series of corners at Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel is just sublime.
